# Unable to play files with accent characters in the file name in beta 30

The song titles from the metadata display correctly, but attempting to play tracks with characters such as (é or ç) shows the “The file couldn’t be opened because it isn’t in the correct format.” dialog. Removing/replacing the non-English characters in the file name allows the track to be played as expected.

I’m not able to duplicate this problem with a file named “tést.mp3”. What macOS version and file system are you using?
