Just did a clean install of v28. Trashed all feisty-dog Decibel stuff, including in /private.
No difference. Next step is a restore OS and from TimeMachine. I’m needing to do this because of some other issues such that First Aid can not repair the Data volume. I have no expectation this will resolve the watch situation.
